Why the Moto E5 Plus is the best battery phone?

The Moto E5 plus got launched recently and as of the E series smartphone, this one also comes with pretty much serious hardware for the small price. One of the key specification of the E5 plus is its huge 5000mAh battery pack that can provide almost more than 2 days of battery backup. And that matters  mostly for a budget is to provide sufficient battery performance with other specifications being good enough. The E5 does come with a good chipset, a new quality camera (better than previous E series phones) and with a big full body display with a comfortable body. The E5 plus is now around 12,000 INR (If you prefer online prices).

The E5 has a bigger battery than most of the phones (that have either of 3,400 or 4,100mAh), but few phones do come with 5000mAh battery (Lenovo P2, the new Asus zenfone max pro m1, previous generation Asus max phones), but do they offer better backup? Consistently. But there are flaws that prove that overall specifications of a phone determines the actual battery performance. Is it true? If that is so, the E5 plus can be actually a true battery champion. How? Read below.

The Moto E5 plus is the best battery backup phone yet.

Previous generation E series phone have bigger batteries that gave incredible performance. Most smartphone now-a-days also even come with 6000mAh packs(Allview P8 Energy, Asus Z2 poseidon) but they have little hardware optimizations or very low availability online. That is a problem. So, if few budget phones do come with 5000mAh battery, what's so great about the E5 plus?

Why the Moto E5 Plus is the best battery backup phone?

Ok, the thing is not just with the processors, its about the overall goods. Most phones do come with better chipsets to further lessen up the battery eatup. That works. Some brands provide better optimized chipsets for better battery performance even on small batteries without compromising performance (Samsung with its exynos). But mostly due to under performance high grade chipsets are employed on newer smartphones to provide the needed boost. But that degrades the battery life too as these comes with . However, its not the same with E5 plus. It does come with a sufficiently powered Snapdragon 425 chipset, four of cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.4Ghz with a 720p capable Adreno 308 GPU. The Cortex-A53 are power efficient cores, that run with less energy, thus using less battery power. Plus, the 425 has individual core clock system, that uses it cores only when necessary for a specific task else they are down for most of the idle time when no background task is active. That may cause a small performance difference compared to other chipsets but its no big deal. The 425 is sufficient enough to provide all the power needed mostly during multitasking, provided a 3GB RAM variant is available too.

Regarding GPU intensive tasks, the Adreno 308 is capable enough to run the screen much fluently, as it is just a 720p resolution in 18:9 ratio. Technically speaking, Games will run at good number of fps, although the screen does run at 60hz(that is what qualcomm refers). So, there is no question of lag here unless you induce something much heavy that requires too much power from the processors. That doesn't mean the 425 is unable to run power demanding apps. Almost all apps will run fluent enough along with games. The RAM sizes are too small for 2018 phones but that is more than enough for running the phone smoothly. The E5 plus comes with Stock Android 8.0 Oreo that needs no explanation about huge optimizations regarding performance and battery efficiency.  Camera performance is also good (for the price) with 1080p video recording too (the E5 plus come with new 12MP module that has a bigger sensor, wider lens with laser AF).

The E5 plus provides balanced performance for the price along with incredible battery backup more than most of the phones, which is the key selling point. Compared to other smartphones, the E5 plus has new trendy Full body display that does matter for most users, as it looks amazing and provides a new experience for watching content. And, the phone looks quite cool. The camera has been improved with a better sensor that provides quality photos which most smartphone dont offer.  Speaking of price, most 5000mAh budget phones dont offer that much except for the battery pack. Well, the E5 plus offers almost everything needed. For users who are looking for extensive battery life only with adequate performance, the E5 plus may be the actual choice to consider.
